MOTHER NATURE'S PANTRY PRESENTS
THE NPC & MET-RX
DEBBIE KRUCK FITNESS CLASSIC 2001
When asked what motivated her to promote her own fitness competition, Kruck, one of the original IFBB Fitness competitors and Ms. Fitness USA, 1989, stated, "This is an awesome experience! As the promoter of my own fitness classic, putting on this competition has allowed me a unique opportunity to take these young women under my wing and educate them on the many positive benefits of a healthy lifestyle while also teaching them proper diet and nutrition principles. I especially love this position because it allows me the chance to watch their development as they move on to higher levels of competition and eventually to the professional ranks."
A new division of the NPC, the Figure division was recently approved at the NPC Board Of Governor's meeting. The purpose of the Figure division is to provide female athletes with no fitness or gymnastics background, an additional opportunity to compete and be recognized for their commitment to fitness. The DKFC is honored to also offer this opportunity to the athletes. In the figure division, there will be no fitness requirements; the athletes will be judged by their physical appearance only. The NPC Figure competition will consist of two (2) rounds and NOT require a routine round. The two (2) piece swimsuit round will be held at pre-judging and the one (1) piece swimsuit round at the evening finals.
As a special incentive, Kruck donates all the show proceeds to paying the entry fee to the NPC National Fitness Championships and airfare & hotel expenses for the overall winners. Kruck, a recipient of the Legend Of Fitness Award from the Academy Of Bodybuilding & Fitness, generously provides the remaining proceeds to the NPC Wheelchair National Bodybuilding Championship and its athletes. Jim Manion, NPC President will serve as the head judge and Vince Taylor, 3-time IFBB Masters Mr. Olympia, is scheduled to be the guest poser.
Pre-judging begins at 10:00 a.m. and ticket’s are $10. The night show promptly begins at 7:00 p.m. and tickets are $20. VIP tickets are $25. The DKFC is a NPC Level 5 competition and is open to female residents of the United States.
